Organizer: Wakana Heilman (Event Director)

Join us on the amazing Double Duck Map in the Eager Hills area in Cranbrook. Wakana Heilman, course planner for the long distance event at the 2022 Canadian Championships held in Cranbrook will be setting up some challenging forest courses in the incredibly runnable, ponderosa pine forest terrain of Eager Hills. There are lots of hills, trails, rock and cliff features to test out your navigational ability! Route choice will be a factor in your success.

We will be accessing the map from Standard Hill Road. Directions to follow.

Notes from the course planner:

  • Some of the old ATV trails on the map are faint and hard to see.
  • The white areas on the map are runnable!
  • The light green areas on the map are mostly fine to go through.
  • Please try to come back around 7:30pm and if you are running out of time, you can shorten the course ;).
