Organizer: Chris Bullock (Event Director)

Eager Hill
Come out and enjoy the flowers and views of the Eager Hill area.
Courses will be set up to take advantage of some of the new trail development in the area. This event will be a 'Line-Orienteering' event with checkpoints to hit, but bonus points for identifying inaccuracies from previous GPS tracks. A beautiful area to explore and lots of spectacular views to take in.

Start Location:
Eager Hill view point parking lot (small road and cattle guard above the highway, located 300m north of the passing lane rest area).
Take extra care turning left into this location as you are in a passing lane and crosses high speed traffic with limited sight lines. A safe alternative is to continue past the turnoff to the interchange, turning off on the Invermere off ramp. Turn into the rest area where the lane merges back with the highway to Ft. Steele. From there, turn back on the highway to Cranbrook and approach the Eager Hill Look out parking area turn in coming from the north.

This is a fun training event. Registration is so we can determine the number of maps to print.
Registration and Start: 6-630.
Course close: 8:00
