Location: Kettle lake parking lot (accessed from north Cranbrook Community Forest gate by Sandor Rental)

Start: 6pm
Course close: 8pm

Categories:

  • Beginner: 2.1k, easy course with controls within 10~15m of existing trails
  • Intermediate: 3.1k, fitness v.s. compass skill (stay on trail or short cut through the open forest)
  • Advanced: 3.2k, almost same as Intermediate course but some of the trails are hidden

Come and practice your precision map reading in the complex and beautiful terrain around Kettle Lake. Members are free or $5 for non-members (buys membership!).

Low key events with the focus on fun and learning.  The intent is to offer orienteering suitable for newcomers plus a course which is challenging for experienced orienteers.

Advanced (corridor)
