Join the fun of Kimberley's First Saturdays activities by testing your navigation skills on a 2.5 km orienteering course set on the streets, trails and alleyways of Downtown Kimberley. The challenge is to locate between 12 - 16 control points, all located within a 1 km radius of your start and finish point, in the Platzl. Whether this is your first time orienteering or you're an experienced orienteer the course will offer something for everyone.
There will be a brief clinic offered for those new to the O-Mazing Race.
Who: This course is open to individuals or families.
When: 12:00 noon - 3:00 pm. Drop by any time but be finished by 3:00.
Special Event: Join us at 1:30 as members of Canada's National Orienteering Team take on the challenge of navigating around the heart of Kimberley in a fast paced sprint race. come cheer them on.
Pre- Registration: Pre-registration makes it easier for the organizers to plan and ensure they have adequate maps for everyone. Select a course then pay on the day. You may also register on the day.
