Score-O: There will be 16 controls total. You have 60 minutes to collect as many points as you can! Harder and further controls have more points so plan your route wisely.
*If you don't want to run or hike, you can also ride your bike with little bit of bushwhacking :)
Format: You can either participate as an individual or as a team. Teams must stay together throughout the event.
6:00 pm - Registration @ Kettle Lake parking lot, Cranbrook Community Forest. Enter the forest, just past Sandoor Rentals, and drive 4 km to the parking area.
6:30 pm - Mass start @ Kettle Lake parking lot
7:45 pm - Taking down controls
Cost: free for 2016 Kootenay Orienteering & Trail Runners Club members. Non -members $5.00 which includes a 2015 membership.
Pre-registration Encouraged - Helps us determine how many course maps to prepare.
Note: Bring bug spray!!! There are lots of mosquitoes at Kettle Lake area.
