Orienteering on the Lois Creek Trails, Kimberley.
Registration and route planning from 6:00, mass start at 6:15, finish by 7:30.
Park on corner of Nelson and Trail Streets, meet below by fire pit. (follow tape)
Price: Free for 2019 KOC members. Membership for new comers is $5.00 each. You can fill in our membership form in advance at Membership Form.
Format: Score Orienteering. Run, hike or mountain bike.
Courses will be along trails with controls placed just off trail. Develop skills in route planning, trail orientation, common features identification, contour reading. Controls will have different point values, find as many as you can, in any order and return in 75 minutes. Points penalty for late returns.
Bring a watch and show up on time! New comers and well behaved dogs welcome!
